10th Annual General Meeting of the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF)
Geneva 20-24 October 2014: The International Secretariat will attend the 10th annual meeting of the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF). As part of this meeting, (IGF) is hosting a two day workshop on artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM). The workshop is the first in a series of workshops to develop Guidance for Governments on Managing small-scale mining activities. This is the initial scoping workshop for a project that will deepen the guidance provided by the IGF’s Mining Policy Framework.
